I was in charge of all aspects of the business, which included the operational running of a free standing store, stock management and HR administrative duties. Fun, productive and creative workplace. This company is the perfect place to develop as an artist and also as an individual. It is a very fast paste environment and it requires strong team player skills as well as attention to detail and exceptional customer service. No complaints, loved working for MAC, great training, treat staff well and very helpful with any issues and very understanding, great management and lovely people.

Fun work place. I loved the face that everyday was different and the team were very lovely. Great place to meet new people. Dia sempre cheio e divertido. Quando faltavam muitos menbros da equipe e estavamos saturados com bichas de 50 pessoas. Sales driven. Fun place to work, although ethics have altered. If you want to be doing arty and creative makeup, mac is no longer the place to be as it is very sales driven due to competitors.
Great training but overall bad company to work for. The training at MAC is great and doing the artistry is fun but job itself was awful. I was promised more hours when I started and for months and finally got told they couldnt give them all along. The company gives you no benefits e. The company is more focused on you selling products than actually doing makeup and inspiring each other.
Myself and other staff were lied to continuously. If you didn't work with a great team the pressure would be too much. I actually loved my time working for Mac, but there was no opportunities for advancing and growing in the business - which i was told there was.
I felt as if I was constantly fighting an uphill battle. Management was very uncoordinated - not from store level but above store level which also left us floundering at times. Higher management don't have a grasp on what the artists need and what the customer wants either, so they try to make you role out these 'amazing' new sales ideas when all they should be doing is creating the product that every other brand has had for years. But, if it wasn't for the girls and boys I worked with I would have left long before.

Bad Management. The management at MAC when I worked there was awful. Conflicts and dismissals were handled awfully and without sympathy.
